Welcome to my blog! I'm a Junior at Texas State University, currently majoring in Art Education. I'm a mixed media artist who is interested in becoming skilled with technology as well as traditional art. I created this site as a blog for my experience in my art education class about learning and digital media. This whole blog is a learning experience so please be gentle :-)

I've been studying art since highschool but only been in education classes since the fall semester. I transferred from Austin Community College, where I finished up my basic classes and I've been taking studio art classes ever since. Art education is something that has been on my mind ever since I was a child, so it wasn't hard for me to choose to transfer to Texas State since its known for its superior education program. I learn from those around me and I'm happy to say I haven't had one teacher who hasn't inspired me to continue my journey in becoming an art professor.
